Jacob Dupre is a fifth generation musician and composer. He has performed and recorded with renowned artists such as Addison Agen (The Voice, 2017), Christiana Danielle (The Voice, 2018), Paul Gilbert, Kris Kristofferson, Kenny Rogers, and Ray Benson. Jacob has also played with legendary jazz performers and composers such as Bill Watrous, Peter Erskine, John Fedchock, Bob Sheppard, Dennis Mackrel, Butch Miles, Bill Kirchner, the Dave Rivello Ensemble, and Bill Holeman. In 2017, Jacob joined the Glenn Miller Orchestra on piano and performed in both the U.S. and Japan. He has performed at venues and festivals such as Orchard Hall, The Blue Note, and the Cotton Club (all in Tokyo), Billboard Live in Osaka, SXSW, the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival, and in Kodak Hall as guest soloist with the Eastman Wind Ensemble. In addition to his career as a musician and educator, Jacob has composed, arranged, and produced his own music for various projects including animations, films, music videos, jingles/ads, live shows, and musical/theater productions. Jacob's scores include short films such as Ilyanica, Dinner Prayer, and The There. His score for the short film The There has been featured in over a dozen film festivals across the U.S. Jacob is the keyboard artist for Sweetwater, the largest online music retailer in the U.S. As keyboard artist, Jacob creates entertaining and informative musical content for Sweetwater's social channels and is a regular author for Sweetwater's online blog, InSync, and Sweetnotes Magazine.

Jacob Dupre is a fifth generation musician and composer from Baton Rouge, LA. He has performed, collaborated, and recorded with artists such as Lynette Williams (Childish Gambino, will.I.iam), Greyson Nekrutman, Addison Agen (The Voice, 2017), Christiana Danielle (The Voice, 2018), Paul Gilbert (Mr. Big, Racer X), Kris Kristofferson, Kenny Rogers, Steve Vai, Kris Myers (Umphrey's McGee), Rick Nielsen (Cheap Trick), Ray Benson (Asleep At The Wheel), Lisa Bella Donna, and performed as the opening act for Kool And The Gang and Tower Of Power. He has played with renowned jazz performers and composers such as Bill Watrous, Peter Erskine, John Fedchock, Bob Sheppard, Dennis Mackrel, Butch Miles, Bill Kirchner, the Dave Rivello Ensemble, and Bill Holeman. He has degrees in music performance from the Eastman School of Music and the University of Texas at Austin. In 2017, Jacob joined the Glenn Miller Orchestra on piano and performed in both the U.S. and Japan. He has performed at venues and festivals such as Orchard Hall, The Blue Note, and the Cotton Club (all in Tokyo), Billboard Live in Osaka, SXSW, and the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival. Jacob has given presentations on music and music technology, most recently for Louisiana State University and the National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM).  In addition to his career as a keyboardist and educator, he works as a composer/songwriter and producer on a wide range of projects. Jacob works at Sweetwater, the largest online music retailer in the U.S., as a video creator and writer for Sweetnotes Magazine. He also works as a studio musician at Sweetwater Studios in Fort Wayne, IN where he performs and records with artists from around the world.
